Summer Sessions--9:00am-12:30pm

Session 1 (July 7-11) - Variety Workshops- During variety weeks each day will include experimentation in different areas of art!

Mondays: Drawing
Tuesdays: Paint & Paper
Wednesdays: Sculpture
Thursdays: Messy Masterpieces
Fridays: Cultural Art

Session 2 (July 14-18) Variety Workshop - See above for days. Projects will not be repeated.

Session 3 (July 21-25) Drawing/Cartooning -
This week will include projects in pencil, charcoal ,pen and ink, and graphic markers. Also drawing from nature, human and animal anatomy, facial expression and comic book layout will be topics discussed.

Session 4 (July 28-Aug 1) Sculpture - During this session students will discover the versatility of sculpting using mediums such as
clay, wire, paper mache' and recyclables.

Session 5 (Aug.4-8) Textiles - In this session students will have the hands on experience of sewing, weaving, dying and decorating a variety of fabrics, yarn, paper and other materials. Projects will include: weaving, wearable items, art dolls and animals and decorative works of art.

Session 6 (Aug 11-15) Variety Workskhops - (see session 1)

Summer Evening Classes- Ages 6 years +
In addition to summer sessions, evening (1 1/2 hours ea. week)classes in Drawing will be included. Using different mediums, students will experiment in creating different forms of art. Each is a 6 week course starting Mon. July 7th or Tues. July 11th.

Drawing I: Mondays 4:00pm 6-9yrs or 5:30pm 10yrs+
Drawing I: Tuesdays 4:00pm 10yrs+ or 5:30pm 6-9yrs

Summer day programs are for children ages 7yrs and older and start at 9am each day and end at 12:30pm. Children will need to wear messy clothes and bring a snack and a drink with them. Please do not drop off children more than 10 minutes before the start of the program.

Evening classes are for children 6yrs+, cost is $140. Full payment is due with registration.


Sessions 3-5 may be taken by the week only, $175 per week.
Sessions 1,2 +6 may be taken on a daily basis. $40 per day or

$175 for an entire week.

A $50 non-refundable deposit per session is due at registration.

Balances are due 2 weeks prior to the start of each session.

Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the start of the session will forfeit deposit paid, except in the case of illness, a physicians note would need to be provided for a studio credit only. Deposits and balances are transferable only when space is available.

Art on the Spot reserves the right to Cancel any Workshops ( 1 week prior) that have not met minimum registration. Registration fees will be refunded.
